A TikTok URL checker that tells you why.
Check a link before you share or save it. Nothing is downloaded, and private videos stay private.
Paste a TikTok or Douyin link and the box reads it the same way the downloader does, then shows what it found instead of download buttons: whether the post is reachable, who made it, and every quality with its file size. If the link fails, it names the exact reason and what you can do about it.
Results appear here
The file starts immediately. There is no in-between page.
What a result tells you
- Works: the post is public and every listed file can be saved.
- Private: only the creator or approved followers can see it.
- Not found: deleted, or the link was cut short.
- Too many requests: wait a minute and check again.
When checking beats downloading
Before sharing a link, to be sure it still opens. Before saving, to see whether an HD version exists. After a failed download, to learn why instead of trying again blind.
Why a check needs no account
The check runs on our server, the same way a download would, so TikTok sees our server and not you. Nothing about the link or the result is kept after the page closes.
What cannot be downloaded
- Private or deleted posts, beyond naming the reason.
- Checking several links at once.
- Predicting whether a post will stay online.
Frequently asked questions
Does the checker download anything?
No. It only reads information about the post. Nothing is saved to your device.
Can it open private videos?
No. It tells you the video is private. No tool can bypass that setting.
Does it work with short links?
Yes. vm.tiktok.com and vt.tiktok.com links are opened first, then checked.
Why can a working link fail later?
The creator may delete it or make it private. A check shows the state right now.
