Privacy: what we do not collect.
Most privacy policies describe what a company takes. This one is short because the list is short.
There are no accounts, no tracking pixels, and no advertising code on this site. Links you paste are used to answer that one request and are not tied to an identity. A hashed form of your IP address is kept briefly for rate limiting, and nothing else is stored.
What we do not collect
- No accounts, so no names, emails, or passwords exist to hold.
- No advertising or analytics scripts, from us or from anyone else.
- No cookies for tracking. The only stored value is your light or dark theme choice, which stays in your browser.
- No history of what you downloaded, because there is no account to attach it to.
What we do process
The link you paste is sent to our server so the video can be read, and it is discarded once the answer is returned. Basic technical details of a post — its formats and sizes — are cached for a few hours so a popular link does not have to be fetched repeatedly.
For rate limiting, your IP address is hashed and the hash is held for roughly a minute. The original address is not written down, and the hash cannot be reversed into one.
Third parties
The site is served from Cloudflare, which processes requests to deliver pages and may keep its own operational logs. Beyond that, no other company receives data from your use of this site.
There are no advertising networks, no social widgets, and no embedded fonts fetched from elsewhere.
Your choices
Because nothing is tied to an identity, there is no account to delete and no export to request — there would be nothing in it. Clearing your browser storage removes the theme preference, which is the only thing we leave behind.
Frequently asked questions
Do you keep the links I paste?
No. A link is used for that one request and is not stored against you in any form.
Do you use cookies?
Not for tracking. Your theme choice is kept in your browser's local storage and never sent to us.
Do you log IP addresses?
Only as a short-lived hash used to stop abuse. The address itself is not written down.
Does TikTok learn that I downloaded something?
Our server fetches the video, not your browser, so the request does not come from your address or your session.
