On iPhone
Safari saves to the Files app by default. Open Files, then Downloads, to find the video; from there you can move it into Photos if you want it in your camera roll.
If Safari asks for permission to download, allow it once and it will not ask again for this site.
On Android
The file lands in your Downloads folder and normally appears in Gallery within a few seconds. If it does not show up, open your file manager and look under Download.
Chrome may show a bar at the bottom with the file name; tapping it opens the video directly.
TikTok's own save button
For many videos the simplest route does not involve this site at all: the share sheet inside TikTok has a Save video option, and it works whenever the creator has allowed downloads.
The catch is that it writes TikTok's watermarked copy, and it is greyed out when the creator has turned downloads off. Both are reasons people end up here instead.
What cannot be downloaded
- Private accounts, deleted videos, and expired links.
- Age-restricted videos, which need a signed-in TikTok session.
- Live broadcasts while they are still running.

Where do downloaded files go on my phone?

Do I need to install anything?

What if the link does not work?
Open it in a signed-out browser tab. If it does not load there either, the video is private, deleted, or region-restricted.
